My dog's ear cut turned into a red bump. Is it infected? What to do?

my dog had a cut on his ear about a week ago. now it has turned into a big red bump/sore.

It may be infected as a scab has formed and trapped the bacteria. I would gently soak the area and clean it with soap and water. Then place neosporin on it. I would also make an appointment with my vet to to have it checked to see if oral antibiotics are needes

    I would leave it. If you pop it, it can introduce infection into the area and make it worse. I would clean it with warm water and antiseptic soap, and then monitor it. If it gets larger and/or does go away in a couple of days, then I would have Choc seen by a vet. I hope this helps!
