Help me find high-quality cat food after a bad brand experience.

Wellness, Weruva and Royal Canin are all good choices. When it comes to a canned food, look for one with a named protein source of animal (not plant) origin. Choose a food that comes from the can looking like a hockey puck. Avoid foods with gravies or sauces. These are typically higher in carbs which can predispose a cat to obesity. Avoid meat meals, by-products as well as store or discount brands. These latter two contain low quality ingredients and more fillers.

Fussy cat? Best affordable wet food & how much to feed daily?

I personally recommend feeding Mila Iams. It's an excellent quality food but it's not as expensive as brands such as Royal Canin and Hill's Science diet. You can also see if Purina ProPlan is affordable for you, that's another excellent food. Each food has a different daily requirement, so I would read the label on the food package and feed her according to that. I hope this helps :-)

Best premium wet cat food? Pro Plan, Fancy Feast, or others?

I personally really like Pro Plan out of those choices, and I also recommend Royal Canin, Hill's Science diet, and Iams. Any one of those four are excellent brands of food for Chester. I hope this helps :-)

Fussy cat with kidney disease won't eat vet food. Best store wet food?

We always say that it doesn't matter how good a food is if the pet won't eat it. This is especially true with cats. Your goal with a diet for a kidney patient is to avoid foods that are too high in protein, so you will want to avoid any kitten foods. Most non-prescription diets are very similar in their protein levels because they are made for the needs of an average adult cat. If Cricket was previously on a dry food, I found the best way to get my cat to eat canned food was to grind up dry food, then sprinkle it on the top of his canned food to get him eating. Thanks for using Boop by Petco! There are several diets available in the market as you have probably noticed. I personally prefer Purina, Royal canin and Science Diet foods as they are of high quality and have research to back up their use. Any of their variations should be good for Maddi.
