Hello. Yes, because the scar is on the cornea, as the cornea moves so does the scar. The scar may become less obvious with time, but there will probably always be some sort of spot there. Any scarring on the cornea will cause changes to the vision. Pets with this condition can also get pigmentation of the cornea which will also cause blind spots. KCS is generally a chronic and requires daily treatment with an immune suppressant eye drop like cyclosporin and an artificial tear. If the abrasion was severe enough it may cause scarring of the tissue and lead to permanent depigmentation. If the abrasion is only superficial (which it appears to be in this pic) the pigmentation will likely return.

These may be small corneal ulcers or scratches, which can take a long time to heal and may be painful. If not treated properly, the ulcer or scratch can become very deep, become infected, and melt the cornea. However, at the moment, I do not see any signs of this in Aron's eye. I'm assuming that the enterobacter bacteria was cultured from something like a corneal ulcer. This seems like an unusual bacteria for this location - enterobacter is most commonly found in urinary tract infections and occasionally skin infections. Since you know what type of bacteria is present I'm assuming your vet was also able to tailor antibiotic therapy to this specific bacteria as well and if so hopefully the infection will resolve. Sometimes there is irreversible damage done to the eyes and vision cannot return, and other times an infection heals and the eye recovers completely. Judging from the photos you provided, it appears as though the area you are concerned about is a flap of tissue from the conjunctiva or third eyelid that was somehow damaged. A problem like this will typically heal on its own but may stick to the cornea permanently as scar tissue.
