My dog chewed a toilet air freshener box. Is it dangerous for him?

I would be concerned that she jumped because she fractured a tooth or injured herself on the can. She may have just been startled. A small amount of air freshener is likely to be bitter and may cause besides and vomiting. I recommend keeping a close eye on Marley. She should be seen by a vet if you think she is painful in the mouth (hypersalivating, guarding, etc) or is vomiting or lethargic. I hope this helps and that all is well with Marley!

As long as he is behaving normally, there is likely no cause for concern. The propellant in the can can cause local irritation such as redness or may cause excessive drooling. You can monitor him for those signs for the next 24 hours to make sure he is in the clear.

As long as he is asymptomatic, there is no cause for concern. Monitor for lethargy, restlessness, hyperactivity, panting, increased heart rate or tremors. Symptoms typically appear within an hour or two of ingestion or exposure. See your veterinarian or take Monty to the nearest veterinary ER if necessary.

Most air fresheners aren’t toxic to dogs and I wouldn’t have any worries unless Bentley has chronic bronchitis, collapsing trachea or another airway disease. In this case you should avoid all air fresheners. Watch for coughing.

It is very unlikely that there would be enough residue to cause toxicity in a dog Ziggy's size as long as you are 100% certain that there was nothing left in the box. With all types of rodenticides you wouldn't necessarily see any signs of toxicity for 12-36 hours, but ingestion of the actual material would be necessary to cause toxicity. It depends on specifically how much was ingested, but these sorts of exposures are concerning and have caused major problems in dogs before. This drug can cause heart problems and lead to life-threatening complications, so my best recommendation is to take Rosco in to a vet for an evaluation. He may need treatment or monitoring tonight. Hopefully, all will be OK and he'll be fine, but it's best to check.
