Melatonia and CBD would generally be safe to give together. I would recommend checking with your vet briefly because there could be reasons not to give melatonin based on your pet's condition(s) or an alternative path that would work even better than melatonin.

We just don’t have much data on CBD oil and safety in pets right now. All I can say is use it cautiously if you desire and choose a product marketed for pets. In order to do legally so we would have to have a patient-veterinarian-owner relationship with you. Your veterinarian also knows your dog and the potential risks for your dog receiving cannabis oil.
