I'd say no. There is very limited research about the effectiveness of hemp oil in dogs, and we don't know the side effects of it or interactions with any other medication. If you want a joint supplement for Mugsy, I recommend Dasuquin or Cosequin.

You should contact your vet's office for a recommendation as we are not in a position legally to give out dosages. In order to do legally so we would have to have a patient-veterinarian-owner relationship with you. Your veterinarian also knows your dog and the potential risks for your dog receiving this medication. That said, if you are using this product you must read the label and dose it according to the label.

As it stands right now veterinarians are unable to prescribe CBD oil for their patients. There is some anecdotal evidence proving its efficacy but not enough research has been done to determine its safety and proper dosing.
