Is cannabis oil safe for my epileptic dog taking other medications?

As it stands right now veterinarians are unable to prescribe CBD oil for their patients. There is some anecdotal evidence proving its efficacy but not enough research has been done to determine its safety and proper dosing. It never hurts to have an open discussion with your vet about new medications to try. However, I would say if Jasmine is doing well on her current therapy I may be hesitant to change it. We just don’t have much data on CBD oil and safety in pets right now. All I can say is use it cautiously if you desire and choose a product marketed for pets.
