Is CBD safe for my old dog on Metacam & Tramadol for arthritis?

If you want to try something else for his anxiety issues that we know is safe, I would suggest Zylkene or Composure - these are natural calming supplements that can be purchased over the counter or ordered online without a prescription. You could also talk to your veterinarian about prescription anti-anxiety medication such as alprazolam or trazodone, if Peetie's anxiety is severe.

We just don’t have much data on CBD oil and safety in pets right now. All I can say is use it cautiously if you desire and choose a product marketed for pets.
