Can a Boxer's blockage from rags cause diarrhea, mucus, and vomit?

It is possible to be related if it is a partial blockage in the stomach and it is floating around. But it may be unrelated as he could have a viral/bacterial infection that can cause similar symptoms. If the vomiting persist or bloody diarrhea occurs, then bring him to your vet for blood work and x rays to make sure.

Vomiting and diarrhea can be seen with an intestinal blockage OR a quick change in diet, but they can also be caused by food allergy, intestinal parasites, gastroenteritis, bacterial or viral infection, IBD, pancreatitis, among others. Dogs with diarrhea will often APPEAR constipated because they have the urge to defecate but there is nothing there to get out. I would recommend that Tikari get checked out by a vet, as dogs with both vomiting and diarrhea can get dehydrated easily. After an exam, the vet may recommend bloodwork, intestinal parasite screening, x-rays or ultrasound. It sounds as Millie is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an antibiotic course and a special food for a few days in order to get better.

Poor Fox! Most often if your dog has an intestinal blockage he is doing a lot of constant or consistent vomiting. One or two episodes of vomiting is unlikely to mean a blockage. If his bowel looks empty on X-ray, and there is no sign of gas distention on X-ray, there is unlikely a blockage and something else is causing his issues. He may need full bloodwork, urinalysis, and abdominal ultrasound to figure out what is going on. Hope that helps!

I would have Abby seen by a vet for this bulge which could be a mass. Unfortunately in senior dogs, there is always a chance a mass could be malignant. It could be compressing her intestines and colon leading to small amounts of poop being passed. Any suspicious masses should be examined by the vet. The vet can perform a test called a fine needle aspirate on it. To do this, the vet sticks a small needle into the mass to get a sample of it's cells, and examines the cells on a slide under a microscope. It's usually painless to the animal, and relatively quick to perform. I would have Abby seen by a vet first thing on Monday to have this mass examined and diagnosed so it can be treated.

If the vomiting continues than he could have a blockage. If he is otherwise acting ok than you could withhold food for the day and then try a bland diet of boil chicken and white rice. If the vomiting resolves, continue feeding the bland diet for a few days and then gradually switch back to his regular food. If the vomiting and diarrhea continues then he needs to be examined by a veterinarian to determine the cause. Your veterinarian can take an x-ray to help diagnose and then determine the best way to treat his problem.

Oh goodness! Poor Jack! As a veterinarian and fellow boxer owner I would expect that this is likely an allergic reaction to an insect sting or spider bite. Boxers are very reactive! They often have gastrointestinal signs with these reactions and usually take a few days to return to normal where as most dogs will respond within hours. He needs to be seen by a veterinarian immediately for some steroids and possibly even epinephrine.
