My dog ate a piece of wood Thursday. He just now passed a price of wood( different than what I remember him eating) he is now peeing in the house. Can these two be related

I think it's unlikely that the wood ingestion and the inappropriate urination are related. Remember, these are two separate systems - urinary and digestive - we're talking about, so I can't readily put together a good reason as to why ingesting wood would lead to peeing in the house. However, I'd likely have a lot more questions for you regarding how Finn is doing overall. My first and foremost concern would be that the wood has caused an intestinal blockage, and I'd want to know if there is also vomiting and/or decreased appetite going on. If so, you should know that this is an emergency situation and Finn needs to be seen right away in order to rule out a blockage. If the incident with urinating in the house was a one time thing, and he's well otherwise, it may just be that at his young age he's forgetting his house-breaking training, and you can monitor the situation.
