My dog ate nachos and wants to throw up but can't. Help!

Vomiting can be caused by intestinal parasites, intestinal blockage, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, parvovirus if not fully vaccinated, among other things. Because you've given Nacho a bland diet for a day and he is still vomiting, I recommend you get him in to your veterinarian when they are open. The vet will be able to perform bloodwork and X-rays and figure out why Nacho is vomiting.

Oh no! I don't think any of those ingredients would be toxic. The salsa probably has some onions in it but I doubt there would be enough to be a concern. If Cassidy continues to vomit it would be a good idea to see an emergency veterinarian but otherwise I'd think it would be okay to monitor him.

In looking up the ingredients, I see that it contains less than 2% of cocoa, so the amount in this little donut is not likely to cause toxic symptoms. Junior should be ok, but keep an eye on him for now. To be safe, you can take him into a vet to safely induce vomiting. I don't recommend inducing vomiting at home. That's because hydrogen peroxide (which is used at home to induce vomiting) can and does cause severe esophagitis and gastritis, often worse than the initial problem, so it's always preferred to advise emergency care. Take him into a vet now to induce vomiting.

I would recommend seeing a veterinarian if Rocco has vomited more than once. Hot Cheetos could certainly cause stomach upset but I would be concerned that part of the trash bag could be causing an obstruction if you are seeing pieces of the plastic as well. The vet might recommend an x-ray of Rocco's abdomen to rule out an obstruction and can also give medication to stop the vomiting.

If his stomach seems distended, if he seems painful or if he is attempting to vomit without producing anything I'd recommend seeing a veterinarian right away. Otherwise I think you could monitor for the next couple of hours and take him in if he vomits again. I would not recommend inducing vomiting at home - hydrogen peroxide is typically what is used and it can cause significant damage to the stomach and intestines. Also, it might not be helpful to induce vomiting since he has already vomited once and not all of the rind up.

Lays BBQ chips are delicious, but that is a lot of chips for a dog to eat! My first concern would be that Max could get pancreatitis from it. This is a severe inflammation of the pancreas that occurs when a dog eats too much fat, and chips are unfortunately fatty. If he ate them within the past two hours, I would take him into a vet immediately to have vomiting induced to prevent him from getting pancreatitis. If it's been longer than two hours since he ate them, you will have monitor him for signs of pancreatitis. These signs include vomiting, hunched back, painful abdomen, vomiting undigested food, distension of the abdomen, loss of appetite, diarrhea, and lethargy.
