My dog ate Cheeto popcorn puffs and threw up. Should I see a vet?

I would recommend seeing a veterinarian if Rocco has vomited more than once. Hot Cheetos could certainly cause stomach upset but I would be concerned that part of the trash bag could be causing an obstruction if you are seeing pieces of the plastic as well. The vet might recommend an x-ray of Rocco's abdomen to rule out an obstruction and can also give medication to stop the vomiting.

Oh dear! Fortunately, I would not expect this to cause any serious problems - neither popcorn nor caramel are considered toxic to dogs. She may have some vomiting or diarrhea for the next day or so, but otherwise no major problems would be expected. It's theoretically possible that she could develop pancreatitis or some other more serious GI illness as a result of eating something she isn't used to, but most dogs in this situation don't become seriously ill. If she is sick for more than 24 hours, or if she stops eating or begins acting very lethargic, it would be best to take her to the vet for an exam as these would be more concerning signs - she may need symptomatic treatment and/or IV fluids and supportive care.

If she ingested a cob, she should be seen by your vet as the cob may cause a GI obstruction. Moldy corn poses risk of aflatoxin toxicity and requires veterinary attention. If was regular, fresh corn off the cob then large quantities can cause GI upset such as vomiting and diarrhea. Withhold food for 12-24 hours. Allow small amounts of water or unflavored PediaLyte. Resume feeding a bland diet (1:1 ratio of plain boiled boneless chicken and plain white rice). Feed in small, frequent amounts waiting at least one hour between feedings. If the vomiting stops, transition slowly to the regular diet. If not, see your veterinarian.

This can be irritating and/or damaging to the gastrointestinal tract. If he is not drinking normally, I worry that he will become dehydrated. I would wait a couple of hours before feeding him again. Give his stomach time to calm down. If he doesn't vomit again, give Milo a small amount of food and wait 20-30 minutes. I agree that she should be fine. Main things I would look for are vomiting, diarrhea, not eating and lethargy. If you notice any of these or any other abnormal signs I would have your vet take a look at her. Your vet can do some bloodwork to ensure everything looks ok and give her fluids if needed.
