My dog ate a Jaffa cake. Is it safe? Should I worry about chocolate?

It would take 3 oz of milk chocolate before there would be any concern for toxicity in a 20 lb dog and I doubt there is that much chocolate in a cookie. If Twinkle begins vomiting, develops diarrhea or develops muscle tremors or extreme restlessness you should see a veterinarian.

It sounds like he probably has developed a touch of gastritis due to the pancake annoying his stomach. If the vomiting continues I would attend the vet in case the fat level in the pancake has caused pancreatitis. However, it should settle within the next 24 hours.
