My dog ate peanut butter cookies. Is he okay? What should I do?

I see he's a good sized dog at 55lbs, so chances are eating this cookie is not going to cause him any problems. At most, you may see some GI upset, but I wouldn't be surprised if you don't see anything at all. It can take up to 24 hours for signs of chocolate toxicity to occur, so monitor him over this time period. Do not let him get ahold of any more cookies! I hope this helps!

As long as Scooby doesn’t have any medical conditions like pancreatitis I don’t think you have anything to worry about. Peanut butter without xylitol is not toxic, and although the one episode of vomiting may be related or you may see diarrhea it should be self limiting. If Scooby continues to vomit however you should see your vet.

Hello. I am so sorry for your worries with Joe. Unless the cookies had a lot of chocolate or raisins in them, then at most all you should see is some gastric upset from all the sugar & fats. If Joe is acting unwell, then you will need to search for an emergency clinic that can see him, even if you need to drive a distance. But that amount of cookies could cause tummy upset or pancreatitis. If Mulan starts vomiting, having diarrhea or won't eat then make an appointment with your Vet. I hope this helps and good luck!
