My cocker spaniel ate dark chocolate. Does he need an emergency vet?

Hi there, my medium-sized cocker spaniel just ate a piece of chocolate brownie containing about 4g strong cacao powder and approx 20g of dark chocolate. Do I need to take him to a vet?

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Jack. I do recommend that Jack sees a veterinarian right away to be safe. Baking and dark chocolate are most toxic to dogs. Take any chocolate wrappers with you as this will help the veterinarian. Good luck!
