My dog ate some pasta with Italian dressing in it off the floor and threw up a few minutes later. Now her mouth keeps dripping with saliva. Should I be worried?

Italian dressing often contains onion or garlic, which can be toxic to dogs. Toxicity signs can be visible even after 24-48 hours since ingestion.

The safest (and recommended) option is to take her to your veterinarian for a check-up. If this is not an option at this moment, please withhold food for the next 4-6 hours and then start feeding back again with some chicken and boiled rice in small portions every 4-6 hours. If the signs persist or she is displaying other signs such as diarrhea, lethargy, inappetence or more vomiting, I would suggest taking her to the nearest ER right away.
