My dog ate French fries and won't stop drooling. Should I worry?

Drooling can be a sign of nausea and this with a decreased activity level can be observed with many conditions such as gastroenteritis, dietary indiscretion, kidney disease, pancreatitis, among many other possibilities. I recommend that you have Rufus evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. They would be able to check for these possibilities and others depending on the findings on exam. Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Eason! He may have ingested something like a mushroom from the yard or other toxin that is causing excessive drooling. Or he could be nauseous. Other causes for excessive drooling are: something is stuck in his mouth, an injury to his mouth, licking an irritating substance, or an esophageal obstruction or irritation. If he is acting normal and eating, drinking and swallowing normally then continue to monitor. If he is hard swallowing, lethargic or not eating then bring him to a Vet today! Good luck!

Nausea and diarrhea can occur secondary to conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, dietary indiscretion, parasites, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have Lily evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. At the very least they can start her on medications to make her feel better and check her hydration status. In the meantime, keep water available at all times to try to prevent dehydration. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Likely diagnostics to be performed include abdominal imaging and general bloodwork. You could try a bland diet composed mainly of boiled chicken and white rice which is easily digestible and can help with an upset stomach. Good luck and have a great day!

Feed him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) and white rice in small amounts. If he refuses to eat the bland diet, he vomits the bland diet, develops diarrhea, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.

Hello. His poop is a bit soft, but it is too early to be overly concerned. No more fatty or greasy foods, just stick with his regular food & see how he is tomorrow.
