My dog just ate some grapefruit pith or skin. Is this toxic to him?

Not to worry - a small piece of grapefruit flesh is not toxic. Peels, seeds, stems, or leaves of citrus fruits could cause neurologic concerns, but a small amount of fruit is unlikely to cause any major issues. Auggie may experience some minor gastrointestinal upset (such as vomiting or diarrhea), but should not be significant. If he does experience some GI upset, consider offering a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days before transitioning back to his normal diet.

There is chemical in grapes that is toxic to dogs but 2 grapes will contain a relatively small amount. Usually issues arrise when dogs eat a whole packet off raisins. I would monitor Bruno closely and visit the vet if he seems to be unwell.

No, avocado does contain a toxin (persin) but it is not of concern in dogs. It is in other species. The biggest problem we see from avocados is obstruction due to ingestion of seed. Just monitor for vomiting or diarrhea. Follow up with your vet if your pet develops vomiting or diarrhea.

I don't think a big guy like Toby will suffer and bad effects from eating one grape. The skin on the grape contains the toxins, but it would take many more than the one grape to cause him a problem. The same situation for raisins....not a good snack. I feel sure that Toby will be fine!!

Pomegranate seeds are not toxic and can be a good treat for some dogs. However, they have been known to cause GI upset (vomiting and diarrhea) in some dogs. You can offer a few seeds, or arils, and see if he tolerates them. If so, offer them occasionally as treats. If he vomits, you will need to find a different snack.

Every dog is different and 1 grape could be toxic to one dog and it could take 100 grapes to cause toxicity to the next. I recommend calling your vet for options to decontaminate Poppy. If ingested in large quantities, they may cause GI upset such as vomiting or diarrhea. The concern would be if there were grapes on the vines that your dog could ingest. Grapes can be very toxic, causing kidney damage or failure after even a small amount is ingested. Monitor for GI upset, loss of appetite or increased thirst/urination.
