Can my dog eat pomegranate as a snack? Is it safe for dogs to eat?

Dates are not poisonous for dogs, but the pits can be very dangerous for dogs, so I would never recommend giving an entire date. The other concern with dates is that they are very high in sugar and fiber, so you need to be careful how much you give a small dog like a Pomeranian. Dogs don't need apples as part of their daily diet, but they are a relatively healthy treat as long as you make sure to remove the seeds. So you can give him a piece of apple every day if you want to - I would not expect this to cause any problems.

Grapefruit skin and seeds are not toxic to dogs in small quantities. Only concentrated seed extracts have the potential to be mildly toxic. Here are some you want to avoid: Avocado Onion Garlic Chives Apple cores and seeds (apple slices are ok) The green parts of a tomato (red parts are ok) Cherries (seeds, leaves, and stems are toxic) Apricots (seeds, leaves, and stems are toxic) Grapes and raisins Wild mushrooms (grocery store mushrooms are ok) Currants Green potatoes (cooked, ripe potatoes are ok) Rhubarb I find that many dogs like baby carrots, green beans, and peeled apple slices. Not to worry - a small piece of grapefruit flesh is not toxic. Peels, seeds, stems, or leaves of citrus fruits could cause neurologic concerns, but a small amount of fruit is unlikely to cause any major issues. Auggie may experience some minor gastrointestinal upset (such as vomiting or diarrhea), but should not be significant. If he does experience some GI upset, consider offering a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days before transitioning back to his normal diet.

I don't think there's any harm in that. Just check the back of the package and look for an ingredient called Xylitol. That substance is toxic to dogs and is used in many foods as a sweetener. In general, always check products for Xylitol, garlic, onions, grapes, macadamia nuts, raisins or chocolate as these are toxic to dogs.
