My dog ate food that touched a disinfecting wipe. Should I be worried?

That was naughty of Luna to get ahold of this wipe. Luckily the wipe is bleach free, which is great! Likely she didn't eat it, but keep an eye on her for excessive drooling, mouth pain, lethargy, and decreased appetite. If you see any of those signs, have her seen by a vet. I hope this helps!

This should be ok. The paper towel should pass without problem, and at most, you may see some stomach upset from Max from the antibacterial cleaner. As long as it doesn't contain bleach, he should be fine. If the antibacterial cleaner contains bleach, then yes, have him seen by a vet now.

Hello there! The ingredients in the phytovet CK wipes are very safe and are also in diluted concentrations. The amount that actually is applied to the skin is also very small as compared to if she was to ingest the liquid form. If it's just a single time ingestion or even if it happens again randomly I wouldn't be worried. I do not expect Ella to get sick at all. However, the application you just did isn't likely to be effective as she probably licked it all off. I usually tell people if you can have a contact time of at least 3-5 minutes with no licking then enough has absorbed to be effective and they wouldn't be ingesting much at all. When I use it on my own dog I just sit with her for a few minutes and play/distract her to keep her from licking. It usually dries pretty fast. I wouldn't worry. I think Ella will be just fine. Ideally, Pepe should be seen by your veterinarian or at the nearest veterinary ER. In addition to the potentially toxic chemicals in the wipe, it may pose a risk of obstruction. Your veterinarian can induce vomiting via injection to get the wipe up and out. This is most successful when done within 2 hours of ingestion. Any longer and the wipe could move out of the stomach. If it blocks, this would be a surgical issue. Pepe may need medication to calm an upset stomach afterwards. A bland diet may also be recommended for a few days.

However, they do contain some ingredients that can be irritating to the mouth. However, those ingredients normally take a while to show up as a problem. My suspicion would be that there was something in the wipe that tasted bad or was bitter which caused the foaming and that was irritating enough to cause the vomiting. I don't think it will be toxic for Tosco! Flushing with water should be enough. I wouldn't give any more milk because dogs cannot digest milk like humans and it may cause vomiting or diarrhea.
