My dog ate a paper towel with antibacterial cleaner. Should I worry?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Beagle | Male | unneutered | 10.6 lbs

We were cleaning up my puppies pee with antibacterial cleaner and the paper towel we used to dab it up my dog ate a part of. We are worried this could harm him, should we go to a vet? Will he get sick?

This should be ok. The paper towel should pass without problem, and at most, you may see some stomach upset from Max from the antibacterial cleaner. As long as it doesn't contain bleach, he should be fine. If the antibacterial cleaner contains bleach, then yes, have him seen by a vet now.
