Lime juice isn't toxic to pets, so this likely won't have any effects on Thor. The worst case scenario is that he may have a mild stomach upset from the citrus. Hi there. Tortillas in general are not harmful to dogs, and I don't see anything on that ingredient list that would cause me any concern. I would not expect this to cause any significant problems for Rusty at all. :)

Oh dear! The good news is, I would not expect this to cause any serious problems for your dog - the only thing that might possibly be on a burrito that could be toxic to a dog is onions, and it would normally take a larger amount of these to cause any serious problems. Beef, cheese, tortillas, etc. are not toxic and should not be a major problem in most cases :) It's very possible that your pup could have a mild upset stomach from this, especially if he isn't used to eating "human food." Rarely, eating something like this could possibly cause a more serious GI issue called pancreatitis - symptoms of this problem would include repeated episodes of vomiting, bloody diarrhea, not eating, and acting lethargic. If any of these signs develop, it would be best to take your dog to the vet for treatment. Otherwise, it should be okay to monitor him at home for the next day or two to make sure that you don't see any problems.

Oh no! I don't think any of those ingredients would be toxic. The salsa probably has some onions in it but I doubt there would be enough to be a concern. If Cassidy continues to vomit it would be a good idea to see an emergency veterinarian but otherwise I'd think it would be okay to monitor him.

While some pets may not show any symptoms after ingesting tamale foods, there have been cases of fatal poisonings. Symptoms of tamale poisoning may appear a day or several days after consumption, depending on the amounts ingested. Common initial signs include vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain and loss of appetite.

Resume feeding a bland diet in small, frequent amounts. Begin with 1 tablespoon of food every hour and gradually increase the amount if there is no vomiting. Symptoms that should be addressed by your vet include persistent vomiting or diarrhea, lethargy, loss of appetite or abdominal pain.

A small amount of lime juice should not cause any problems except potentially a little drooling/ gastrointestinal upset. It is usually the skin and oils from citrus fruit that can cause toxicity.
