Oh no, that's not good that your dog ate half a beef burrito from Taco Bell! That can be very fatty, and has the potential to cause pancreatitis. In addition, if there is garlic and onion in the beef, both are toxic to dogs and cause anemia. The best thing to do is have him seen by a vet now to induce vomiting safely with a shot so that he doesn't experience any ill effects from eating it.

My main concern is that the burrito contains onions, which are toxic to dogs and can cause a hemolytic anemia. Ideally, this should be evaluated by an emergency vet and it would be best to have the vet induce vomiting to eliminate any possible toxicity concerns. If you opted not to have onions on the burrito, there is a chance that he could develop an upset stomach as a result of this sudden food ingestion and could experience vomiting and diarrhea. If this occurs, withhold food for 12-24 hours, then offer a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken and white rice for a few days. I hope that all goes well!
