Should I buy a puppy with a lump under its eye before a vet visit?

Since your puppy is due for her rabies shot soon and she does not seem to have any problems arising from this bump, I think you can wait to show this to your vet until you go in for the rabies vaccination. However, if your puppy starts squinting, having a discharge from the eye, or generally appears bothered by this you should take her in to your vet before the vaccination date to have her eye and eye lid examined.

It may be a cyst or local infection/irritation. Monitor for rapid change or growth, discharge or bleeding as well as discomfort.
