The mother cat (Xena) gave birth to hercules on 3/4/19. Xena had a new litter of 6 kittens just yesterday (5/20/19). Hercules seems to still be nursing from Xena every so often. We are wondering if we should force them to separate as this is robbing milk from the new litter? Also they dont want to be separated. Xena is following anywhere hercules goes despite leaving the litter behind. Should we be worried and do something? Or is this normal?
