Is pet-safe laundry detergent necessary for washing pet bedding?

I recommend using a mild or sensitive detergent, that it what I have used on my sheets and clothing, and have never had a problem with my dogs even when they sleep in the bed with me. Dryer sheets are fine too, the only problem comes if the dog ingests them. I hope this helps!

Other than the last ingredient (dye- probably in minuscule amounts since its last on the list), this product appears to be made entirely from plant extracts and I would indeed call it “natural”.

Thanks for visiting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You can wash your pets toys in any detergent you want to. There are no stipulations to detergent. Especially if mold was on them. You definitely want to add some bleach to the wash to ensure it kills the mold. Follow the instructions on your machine to help prevent any kind of discoloration of the toys. If your pet has a known or suspected allergy, then I would use a hypoallergenic detergent or a baby detergent such as Deft detergent. Hello. Thank you for using PetCoach. You should not have to use any flea shampoo now that she is on the Nexgard. Those flea shampoos are harsh on their skin and full of chemicals. You can use the L'oreal but it is not really recommended. If you do use it, use it sparingly and don't make it a habit. Dog skin is a different pH than ours, therefore, our shampoos tend to dry them out and strip the natural oils from their coats. I suggest you use a calming dog shampoo like this one. It will not dry her out or strip the oils. Miracle should be absolutely fine!! As long as the pod was intact when you handled them, there is minimal risk of poisoning your cat after handling them and then handling her. I love your plan to make a habit of washing your hands after handling laundry detergent - better safe than sorry in the future, if a pod is inadvertently broken. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
