Why is my male cat peeing often with little output after vet check?

Poor guy. He likely has a urinary tract infection or cystitis (inflamed bladder usually due to stress). I would recommend taking him to your vet for a urine test to determine which is present so that he is treated appropriately. As long as he is otherwise acting normal and able to urinate at will, then it isn't considered an emergency at this point. Getting him seen on Monday or the day after should be ok. It's not likely a UTI, cats tend to suffer from a condition called FLUTD that mimics a UTI but it's actually related to stress and doesn't involve a bacterial infection. in most cases it advances to a urinary blockage and the c at can die within several hours of that happening. you must take him to the vet urgently for treatment.

At this point, the most common causes of Greyson's bloody urine (UTI, kidney infection, crystals in the urine and bladder stones) have all been excluded. The other possibilities include a sterile cystitis (non-infectious bladder inflammation), urethral spasms or a bladder tumor (unlikely given his young age). Consider discussing medications that could decrease spasms in the urethra or anti-inflammatory medications to decrease bladder inflammation with your vet. Also make sure that Greyson is drinking plenty of water (water fountains or mixing water with canned foods can be helpful) because many causes of bloody urine can also be precursors to urethral obstructions, which can be life threatening. You could take your cat to an internal medicine veterinary specialist for an ultrasound and/or other diagnostics to help get a definitive diagnosis. A specialist has more training then a regular veterinarian so may be able to read the ultrasound better. If you can't do that then you could try the anti-inflammatory and see if that helps. I would be very suspicious that he had a urinary blockage, was able to pass the obstructing material and that's when he got all wet and litter covered and may have passed blood. It would be the best plan if action to take him to your veterinarian for an exam and a urinalysis. Explain exactly what is going on. He may have an infection, crystalsi in his urine or bladder stones. If he was obstructed, he could do it again very soon and this can be a life threatening emergency.

From the photo, the urine appears to have blood in it and you are seeing an increased urination. I recommend to have Knight examined right away.
