Oh dear, poor Prince! I'm extremely concerned that he is vocalizing and has been in and out of the litter box. As a male cat, he's at an increased risk of developing a urethral obstruction, which is a blockage that prevents him from emptying his bladder. Some cats can develop partial blockages, which allow them to still dribble small amounts of urine, but even this are a major problem. If Prince has a urethral obstruction, this is an immediately life-threatening emergency. You should take him to an emergency veterinarian right away for treatment. There are no home remedies or temporary treatment options for this issue. Hello! Leopold could have a partial urinary blockage, which is an emergency! Ideally, take him to see his vet ASAP, so they can check him over. If his bladder is not emptying properly, he will need to be catheterized. Male cats of this age rarely get bladder infections, so a partial blockage is much much likely. Cats get crystals in their urine, which plug up their system. I hope he feels better soon!

With that kind of vocalization and restless behavior, I suspect he may have a urinary tract infection. I recommend getting him to see your vet as soon as possible, Male cats are especially prone to becoming blocked and unable to urinate. If it isn't urinary, he still may have some underlying medical condition that is making him uncomfortable and restless. Your vet will do an exam and labwork to determine what is causing this behavioral change and how best to treat it.

This condition, if allowed to progress, can even be life threatening. I recommend having Cornelius seen by a vet as soon as possible - he should be seen right away if he has blood in his urine, begins urinating in abnormal areas, or you note that he is straining to urinate (leaves only small amounts of urine after spending longer in the litter box). Is my unneutered cat's litter box yowling due to UTI or spraying?

Yowling at the box and trying to go potty or dribbling/only going a little is very concerning. This is an emergency and you need to take Duke to a veterinarian or PetER right now or he will get so ill that he might die. This is not a urinary tract infection primarily but very likely an obstructed urethra caused by crystals or bladder stones. Please take him to a Pet ER now, do not wait. Penicillin will not clear this up.
