My Maine Coon kitten has yellow urine and isn't eating or drinking.

Hello and welcome to Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. That urine looks very very concentrated, which is suggestive that Marshall is dehydrated. This coincides with him not drinking. I would recommend getting him to a vet if you can, otherwise try to increase his water intake. Try getting him canned food, and adding water to the food, or providing him with fresh water, or running water (some cats like this). When you can I would get him to a vet, as I am concerned there is something serious going on inside him. Best of luck with Marshall, I hope he feels better soon!

I would recommend you encourage him to drink more water which you may do by feeding him canned food or increasing the number of water bowls around the house. Other possibilities include something like a urinary tract infection. For this reason, if this continues, Thor should be evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. Just like humans, pets can get sick for many many reasons. It's possible he's fighting a virus, that he ate something he shouldn't have or that his stomach hurts. If he is lethargic beyond 48 hours, if he is not eating or drinking as normal or if he is getting worse, have him examined by the veterinarian.

Given that Minx is a young male cat and having abnormal urinations and likely blood in his urine, I suspect that he may be suffering from Feline Idiopathic Cystitis (FIC), or inflammation in the lower urinary tract. This is causing him difficulty urinating, and painful urination. I recommend having him seen by a veterinarian right away, before he becomes fully "blocked", meaning unable to pass any urine at all. This is a life-threatening emergency, and requires rapid veterinary attention. Your veterinarian will perform a physical exam and likely recommend bloodwork to evaluate the severity of his urinary tract disease. FIC is a treatable condition, but again, if he becomes unable to pass any urine at all, he can experience acute kidney failure and develop fatal heart rhythms. I hope this is helpful!

These signs might be compatible with a urinary tract infection/inflammation. Stress related (idiopathic type of inflammation) infection and presence of crystals are the most common causes of it. These signs must be checked as soon as possible as urinary tract infection can be dangerous in male (especially neutered) cats as it can develop into a urinary tract obstruction/blockage. A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Antibiotics may be needed. Poor guy. This sounds a bit more than just a bladder worm (very rare) and simple colitis. He could have a bleeding disorder (coagulopathy). I would recommend taking him back to the vet asap for a recheck and testing to see if he has a blood clotting abnormality (PT/PTT/ACT test and baseline bloodwork). He also may need radiographs to get a complete picture of his overall health status. When a cat decides to refuse food it is usually a serious illness that needs immediate medical attention in order to have any chance of turning things around. It's possible the diet change and medication could cause the urine to change some. I would give it a few days as long as they aren't showing any other signs of illness, and make sure they are eating and drinking enough. If the problem persists, worsens, or other symptoms appear, a vet visit to rule out any other issues is best.
