My kitten threw up, got weak, and lost her eyesight. Is it serious?

Hey there.. I got a kitten who is less than 4 months old. After a nap she woke up and throwed up.. Became weak and was resting her head down as if she was going to die. After a couple of minutes she lost her eyesight & couldn't see me. I suddenly gave her some milk. And was sure she was going to die. But after 2-3 hrs she got up and started moving around but was blind. Again after resting for another hour she got her eye sight back... What is happening to her.. I am kind of spoked

That sounds serious! Your kitten may have had a seizure or an episode of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Both of these are highly unusual in kittens. I recommend to have her examined by your veterinarian for some bloodwork today. Best of luck.

The symptoms you are describing can be caused by things such as transient hypoglycemia, an infectious or inflammatory process, a neurologic condition, inner ear infections, or a cardiac condition resulting in weakness. If this kind of symptom persists for more than a day, or stops then repeats itself again, I would strongly recommend a physical exam with a veterinarian to rule out some of these conditions. My kitten had a seizure and is lethargic. What should I do now?

If she had what appeared to be a seizure, I would place a small amount of karo syrup on the gums and get her seen right away as her sugar level may be low. This could easily cause the seizures with low blood sugar (hypoglycemia). Sick kittens oftentimes do not eat enough and will secondarily get hypoglycemia. I would recommend taking her to a vet due to her young age. I would be concerned that Sparkle could have parasites or even an infection/viral disease that is causing her to possibly have low blood sugar or not feel well. I am sorry Sparkle Is not feeling well but taking her to the vet would be the best for her.

She could have a parasite, infection, or an upset stomach from something she ate. The fact that she is weak is concerning and she should be examined by a vet to determine the cause and treat. Your vet can test a stool sample for parasites and then prescribe medications. She might also need fluids to prevent dehydration.
