My kitten has third eyelid, vomiting, loose stool. Should I see a vet?

Vomiting can be observed with conditions such as gastroenteritis, pancreatitis, dietary indiscretion, gastrointestinal foreign body ingestion and obstruction, among other possibilities. For this reason, I highly recommend that you have Google evaluated by a veterinarian for further assessment and treatment as soon as possible as I am afraid she is likely becoming dehydrated. A dewormer would be beneficial if the diarrhea is caused by worms, however if they also have eye discharge or third eyelids showing I would be concerned about other issues ongoing such as a respiratory infection or illness. The kittens, if they are about 2-3 months old, are also of the age where they should be getting their first set of vaccines, exams, etc. It would be best to bring them into your vet for a complete checkup, checking the stool to figure out the cause of the diarrhea, look at the eyes, and get started on a health and vaccination plan.

Hello, sorry to hear about Nala. Both of those, giving too much food and changing her food may cause your kitten to feel sick. However, given her age and signs of eye discharge, I would also be concerned with an upper respiratory tract infection. Kittens may suffer from URIs intermittently and signs may last 3-5 days. If she is otherwise eating, drinking, and acting like her self then you can continue to monitor her at home. However, if you note any lethargy, persistent vomiting, diarrhea, labored breathing, or a decreased appetite then she needs to be re-revaluated by a veterinarian. You may continue feeding her the new diet for now. You can also try to offer plain white rice and boiled skinless and boneless chicken with her new food. Hope this helps and best of luck.

An eye ulcer is very serious, as leaving it untreated can lead to it melting and causing rupture of the eye and permanent vision loss. Morty has to see a vet immediately, and while there, the vet can treat his diarrhea. Please take him into a vet now.

Poor kitten! I think you're in the right for trying to get in sooner to have her checked out by your vet. If she is bleeding a lot or is having severe diarrhea or vomiting, then seeking out care from another vet or even an emergency clinic may be a good idea. Keeping her bottom clean and dry can help, and feeding a bland meal of some boiled chicken may help as well until you can be seen.

Hi there. I would have Kunsel seen by a vet. Vomiting and loose stool can be caused by a reaction to food, parasites or a virus, but when it's been going on for a few days she does need treatment. Your vet will be able to find out what's causing it and get her on meds to get her feeling better.
