My kitten hates her harness. How to make walks easy and stress-free?

I would suggest sticking with a harness you are sure that your cat annoy scape from. Also, since you are taking him for walks regularly I would recommend making sure you have your cat microchipped so that if he does get away from you he will have a better chance of being returned. It may take some time and patience to train your cat to feel comfortable on a leash. You first need to put the harness on him inside and let him get used to it. Once he is comfortable with the harness than you can attach the leash and let him drag it around the house while you supervise. Once he feels comfortable dragging the leash than you can hold the leash and follow him around. After that, carry him outside and try him in the backyard. In my experience, a cat who wants to escape from something like a harness will eventually find a way. I do think that this type tends to work a little better: I also think training is very important: put the harness on for very short periods of time while offering food or a treat and gradually work your way up to longer time. If he starts to get upset with the harness training is over and you should take it off. All harness time should be fun! Once he seems comfortable you can then try adding a lead.

Royal canin and hills both make wet kitten food in foil pouches and I have had good feedback on the palatability of both of these. Cats can be very fussy eaters and it is not always easy to 'insist' they eat what we try to give them and I would be most concerned that she is getting the right balance of nutrients for kittens to grow and develop and sufficient fluid intake

Do not combine foods, this causes GI upset. Brands of food I recommend include Royal Canin, Hill's Science Diet, Purina Pro Plan, and Iams. I recommend these foods because they run their own feeding trials, meet AAFCO standards, and have veterinary nutritionists on staff. They are the only four brands to do this. I think an indoor cat formula would be best for Storm. As for water, get a pet water fountain. It provides a constant source of fresh water, and encourages cats to drink. I have one for my cats, and they love it. Don't change litter if he has one he likes. Cats are very picky about litter, and a change in litter can lead to them not using their box.

Given that she gets loose stools with even a little Royal Canin, I would try a different food instead. Hill Science diet is great, as well as Purina ProPlan and Iams. If any of them give her loose stools even with switching slowly, then I would stick with the Whiskas only.
