Very concerned about my new kitten who started foaming at the mouth on his 2nd day home. I took him to the emergency vet today where he was given fluids & anti-nausea meds. They did blood work & an X-ray but couldn’t define a cause. I’m home with him now and watching him closely ... he’s been sleeping with intermittent periods where he wakes briefly and, as soon as he does, the frothing starts again. I have no idea what it could be. Next plan is to take him to another hospital for 2nd opinion

Hello, thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. Your kitten may have regurgitated or bit into something nasty tasting. If the kitten is having any unusual symptoms such as lethargy, incoordination, vomiting or appetite loss, please see your veterinarian as soon as possible. Hope all is well soon.
