Should my cat sleep in my room at night if she seems happy elsewhere?

Your kitties are so cute! Yes it's possible to get Kiki to sleep on your bed, but given she is a young kitten, she may be more interested in playing at night than sleeping. When you go to bed, you can try bringing her in with you and your other cat, and give her treats when she lays down on your bed. That way, she associates your bed with a good thing, and may be more likely to lie down there. Keep in mind that cats and kittens can be finicky about where they sleep, and she may sleep there for a while, then move to a new favorite spot. This is completely normal. As she grows older, she may chose to want to sleep on your bed more, but for now, giving her treats when she is on it will provide a good association with being there and make it more likely she will want to lie on the bed. If you're ready to start introducing him to the rest of the house, I would recommend simply leaving the door to your room open so that he can venture out when he wants to. He should always be able to run back into your room at any time if he gets anxious or scared. Over the next few weeks, he should start to explore more and more as he gets more confident - don't rush this process, as it will only scare him more if you try to force him.

She will eventually outgrow it but I can sympathize. You're doing the right thing by playing with her a lot, but you should also provide plenty of ways for her to amuse herself. Make sure she has plenty of hiding places, things to scratch on, perches where she can see outside, and toys. Get her a stuffed toy that is roughly her size so she has something she can wrestle with like another kitten. You may even consider getting another kitten to keep her company and busy so you can get some sleep. You may have to resort to confining her when you sleep or shutting your door to keep her out.

it is ok to sleep with your adult cats most of the time. Eventually the kittens will probably come lie with you as well. In the beginning there will probably be hisses etc. but eventually over time the cats probably will take turns. Do not lock them inot the 'safe room', keep it open, so they can start to get more couragsous venturing out and start to interact with the adult cats. It will take time, but eventually they will all at least tolerate each other.

The best solution is to let him go wherever he wants in the house, this is your best chance at getting some sleep, but kittens this age are very active at night and you can expect intensive night action for the next 3 months.
