Is it normal for my cat to void urine 3 times per day?

If she is only urinating 3 times a day than she probably is not drinking too much water. Your vet could check a urine sample to see if she has dilute urine which would be an indicator that she is drinking too much water.

Each cat is an individual and frequency of urination can vary based on water intake. Typically, we do not become concerned unless our patients begin having accidents outside the box, discolored urine, straining or inability to urinate. With that said, I would encourage you to have her urine checked at her next semiannual veterinary appointment. The earlier we identify problems the better. Again, I do not think you need to worry but be proactive and have her urine checked at Paka's next vet appointment.
