Is it normal for my kitten to pee 5-6 times daily? Should I worry?

Cats are really good at conserving water, so they can be normal and pee only once a day. As long she is acting normal and eating normal, I would not be too concerned. A lack of urine production can be seen with acute kidney failure, but she would have other obvious signs of illness (i.e. vomiting). It's best for her to drink more and urinate more to prevent infections and early kidney failure. You can help promote drinking by putting water in the good, or giving a little broth of fish juice with her food. I hope that helps and all is well with Tiffany.

If she has a good appetite and is having normal BMs and is active, she is likely passing urine. It is probably a small amount each time it gets lost in the litter box or is missed with the BM so it is hard to tell the difference. I would confine her and make sure she is not using the bathroom outside of the litter box.

I would have her seen by your vet with a full bladder. Do not let her use the box for a few hours before the appointment so they can collect a urine sample. She may have UTI or crystals in her urine. Congrats on your new kitten! Yes, it is normal for a kitten to pass multiple times a day, especially if she is being fed multiple times a day or has food left out at all times. Poop does stink lol! It could be the combination of the food causing the smell, but I would continue to feed it to Ovey because it was recommended by your vet :-)

Young kittens will normally toilet frequently, often up to 6 times a day but I would be very concerned by repeated trips to the tray without producing anything as this may indicate an obstruction or severe spasm and inflammation which is quite common in cats and can be triggered by stressful events such as moving house. I recommend an urgent vet check to determine if he is constipated or bladder pain and to prescribe the most appropriate treatment and ongoing management to prevent recurrence. In the meantime I would try to encourage fluids with flavoured water (freshly boiled chicken broth or a little cod liver oil on the water bowl) and provide wet food to maximise fluid intake which can help soften stool and flush the bladder

I would say that that would not be typical. It sounds like quite a bit of ruination. Have you noticed if he’s drinking more water? If he’s drinking more water and urinating more that could be an indication of an underlying problem like diabetes. He should really see your vet for an exam and some blood/urine testing.
