Why is my cat suddenly meowing, following, and hissing at my suitcase?

It is possible something startled Meesho. Moving him to a calm, quiet room with food, water, litter, etc may help him to relax. If he seems in a lot of distress, is trying to go potty and can't, or has signs of illness (vomiting, pain, not eating, etc) this could indicate he is very ill and should be seen by a vet right away.

These are pretty common behaviors for a young cat. Cats are often nocturnal/playful at night, and the its very rare for cats to greet their people when they come home. As far as following you around, and crying for you when you're gone, you are probably her favorite person! I don't think you have anything to worry about with her. Keep in mind that he may be more vocal just because of your arrival and eating more dry food and not wanting tuna may be just behavioral and not necessarily a bad thing. Sudden changes in behavior can indicate that Mulan does not feel good or that she is stressed. Monitor her VERY closely for any signs of illness. Monitor everything. Is your kitty unspayed? Oftentimes, extra friendly behavior and meowing go along with a kitty that has not been fixed. Having her spayed might help stop that behavior. Make sure she is eating ok and not having any vomiting or diarrhea or lethargy that would make you worry. Any chance she already had babies and wants you to follow her to the babies?

If only Cas could talk! It’s hard to know why this is happening. It’s possible he is seeing another cat or an animal outside or that perhaps a cat is spraying by the door and he can smell it. He may also be restless and need stimulation. Cats can become more vocal when they are in discomfort. Monitor him very closely for any changes in behavior (eating, drinking, urinating, defecating....etc) as this could indicate a medical cause. You may also just play it safe and have him examined by the veterinarian. The doctor may wish to check his urine as crystals in the urine can be a source of discomfort that may not show many clinical signs. At home you can try a daily vigorous play session for 30 minutes, offering him climbing opportunities such as shelving units or a tall cat tree, a pheromone diffuser and wiping it down the doorway with a cleaning solution.
