If you move them, she may move them back or somewhere else that you may not be able to monitor her. Provide plenty of fresh water for her. Feed her kitten food until the litter is weaned. Leave bowls close to her so she won't have to go far from her litter.

Cats like to have their litter in a very quite, safe, out of the way place like under the house. She may never bring them close to the door, and you'll have to wait to see them when they get old enough to start exploring on their own. At 6-8 weeks they need to have vaccinations and deworming even if they stay outdoor kitties.

I would set up a warm bed for them, and put in something like a hot water bottle covered in towels. They are just over four weeks old, and while it's time for them to wean, they are probably better with their mother. If the temperatures keep dropping, however, I would move them indoors.

It might really stress her out to be inside if she's never been inside, so I would just leave out food for her, and set up a shelter for her and her kittens. The kittens are safest confined until 4-5weeks at least and as long as the mother is not distressed and risking injury to the kittens i would keep mother and kittens in a little longer and ensure they are eating solids before left out

Your granny sounds very sweet! Don't worry cats are very good mothers and do very well to look after their young. You could certainly put a blanket down for the kittens though. Just keep an eye that mummy and kittens look healthy. I would consider getting the kittens neutered in a few months to avoid breeding.

You can move the kittens - if you are planning to socialize the kittens and either keep them yourself or adopt them out it would actually be ideal to handle them when they are young. It is unlikely that the mother will reject them, but she may try to move them back unless you cut off access to the other room.
