Momma Cat wants to move 3 week old babies. Should i let her? She is a barn cat living in a tack room w/ her sister cat. Been pretty much locked up so no animals can get into hurt them. Since the weather was nice i let the sister cat out to roam figuring momma would stay w/ her babies but i have a camera on her and seen her trying to move her babies. I have since closed up the tack room so she cant move them out of there. Should i have not interferred?

At 3 weeks of age you can start transitioning them onto wet kitten food. It is ok it they are not around her 24/7 but I would not purposely limit their time with their mom. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
