Hi, I have an almost 6mo old MCkitten. He eats about 4x 100g pouch a day. He refuse to eat dry food and the past few days he trying to eat my other cat's food as well. Could you please tell me what's an appropriate amount to feed a kitten and also adult cats? I think I did overfeed my now adult cats. On the box the guidelines are quite misleading here. They say that 4 pounch in 2 meals but they never say whether that's if they eat only wet food or that amount should be given beside dry food.

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! For a cat of about 11 pounds of body weight, the daily calories should equate to about 280 calories per day. I recommend twice a day feedings and you will have to take a look at the calories per can / cup with the current food you are feeding and measure it out equally so that you are feeding 280 calories worth per day. Please let me know if you have any other questions or concerns and I would be more than happy to help you further.
