Will my outdoor cat's fur get thinner after she becomes an indoor cat?

Given that C is allowed outside, it could be that the lack of fur on her back will affect her in the cold weather. She could become colder easier, so I would either keep her indoors until her fur grows back in (which unfortunately can take months), or you can get her a sweater or coat to help keep her warm.

It could be just genetics affecting the hair coat. Just like in people if one of your parents has brown eyes and one has blue eyes you might get either color. In the picture zeus looks like he has a normal healthy coat. Ivermectin is a dewormer so it is possible zeus had skin mites or ear mites when younger but that should not affect his over all coat health when he is older

It is hard to see much difference in the coat from the photos, however grooming/trimming can remove the undercoat and make a cat look less fluffy until it has grown back in. Making sure your cat is on the correct nutrition can also ensure their coat stays healthy and full. Kittens will go through growing phases where their coat will look more dull or more shiny until they reach adult age. I would not be overly concerned based on those photos you posted - I think he looks normal. That's hard to say. It could be nutrition related. Try adding in an omega 3 fatty acids for cats and change the food to Royal Canin, if this does not help after a month, have your cat examined by the veterinarian for thyroid disease and oil gland issues. I hope this helps.
