Cat fought dog, vomiting, painful abdomen, can't pee. What to do?

The problem with dog and cat fights or altercations is that it is hard to know the extent of the internal injuries even if there is no external injuries. It is really important to have him checked by a veterinarian to determine for example if he has any evidence of internal injuries such as bleeding into the abdomen, a broken rib or something of that nature. He is probably avoiding contact because he is painful. I highly recommend that you have him evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible for further assessment and evaluation. They may proceed with radiographs and blood work for example depending on his physical examination. At the very least they can start him on pain control medications. Good luck!

Unfortunately there are no pain medications you can give him. Many human ones are toxic to cats and are fatal if given. The best thing you can do for him is take him into a vet immediately to get this treated. Best of luck.

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I noticed in one of those pictures that his stool is really diarrhea and is black (which usually means a sign of bleeding). Vomiting and diarrhea can occur secondary to conditions such as inflammatory bowel disease, dietary indiscretion, parasites, among other possibilities. In addition, black stools can be indicative of bleeding into the small intestine or stomach which can happen secondary to an ulcer for instance. Bloody urine can be the result of an infection, stones, tumors, among other possibilities. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. At the very least they can start him on medications to make him feel better and check his hydration status. In the meantime, keep water available at all times to try to prevent dehydration. I'm sorry to hear that Bo is feeling so poorly. A foreign body intestinal and/or stomach obstruction will cause vomiting and nausea (drooling is a sign of nausea), a loss of appetite and lethargy. Foreign body obstructions require surgery and supportive fluids and medications for treatment. Without surgical removal of the foreign material, the intestinal wall will become severely diseased and perforate, causing intestinal contents to leak into the abdomen, causing severe infection (sepsis) which is life-threatening. Since Bo is doing so poorly, I strongly recommend taking him to the emergency vet immediately for evaluation and likely surgery. Do not give additional enemas or squeeze his bladder without direct veterinary guidance. Some over the counter enemas (such as Fleet enemas) are toxic for cats. Squeezing his bladder could also cause an intestinal perforation if the intestines are diseased from the foreign material. I hope that all goes well.

However, the best thing you can do is to keep him as quiet as possible for now until you can have him evaluated by a veterinarian. He likely has trauma in multiple places which is why he is so responsive to the touch. Often times after fights they have injuries beyond what you can see from the outside. They would be able to check the extent of the injuries and recommend the best course of action but for now, I recommend that you rest him as much as possible and keep an eye on him to make sure he is ok. If Boxer is not improving and is not eating or drinking, I would recommend taking him back to the veterinarian for a recheck and having anti-nausea medications and fluids given to see if this helps further. If he continues to not eat, he may need a feeding tube if his liver becomes affected. I hope this helps! I would avoid giving Calpol as cats are very sensitive to this drug and can develop toxicity quite easily. There are safer fever reducers such as Meloxicam that you can have your veterinarian prescribe for you. I hope this helps! I would recommend having Oscar examined by a veterinarian right away. Male cats can develop urethral blockages that only allow them to urinate small amounts (or not at all). This can become life-threatening if not treated right away.
