Hi and thanks for posting.

It is okay to give your cat egg every once in a while as a treat, but should not be an every day event as eggs do have quite a bit of fat in them that could cause an upset stomach for a small 6 lb cat. As a treat once in a while, you could give a tablespoon or two of plain scrambled egg if you wish.

I hope this helps and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Runiyah is cute!

I would be cautious with raw foods. We are just as concerned about food borne pathogens from raw food like salmonella in our pets as we our in ourselves. Give it sparingly if you feel strongly about it. Cats do not need it if they are on a good commercial cat or kitten food.

    Have a good day!
