Why is my cat meowing all the time? Should I be worried or see a vet?

He may be meowing at you because he wants more attention. He may also be hungry or bored. Try playing with him, make sure he has food, and give him lots of love. Unfortunately it's impossible to know why Adik is meowing so much! If the cats are not spayed and neutered, he is more likely to reactive if the female is coming into heat or if there are other un-neutered males outside. If they are not spayed and neutered, I recommend to have this done. This may help to decrease reactivity but it may now fully control it. Other things you can do are related to environmental enrichment. I would recommend starting by using Feliway products to help calm him. There is a Feliway spray and diffuser that I would recommend using. This product contains a pheromone that helps make cats feel more secure and they typically do calm down. If he hears other cats outside this may make him more prone to meowing incessantly. Interactive toys may help as well. There are automatic laser toys that shine a laser on the ground and this keeps some cats busy for hours. A cat in heat can certainly cause a male to be more restless and vocal. For his best long term health I would recommend having Kovu neutered, but being vocal is not necessarily a sign of illness. If he is eating, drinking, urinating and defecating normally, then "talking" may just be his personality.

I would first recommend taking Marley to the vet make sure he is healthy. Some cats will become more affectionate when they are sick or not feel well. Second I would recommend increasing toy and activity in the house. He could be getting bored so he is trying to play/interact with you more. They do make toys that can hide treats in them. You can try and hid toys around the house so he has to go find them. Increasing his activity will really help in this situation

It doesn't really sound like a medical issue but it is always best to have a vet check him out if there is a drastic change in behavior. Medical issues should be ruled out before a behavioral issue can be presumed. If no medical problem is found then it is likely behavioral. He may be bored or needing more stimulation.
