What if my cat drank water with dead maggots? Is it harmful?

Pet's info: Cat | Ragdoll | Female | spayed | 7 years and 10 months old | 14 lbs

Hi my cats water bowl had some now dead maggots in it, I feel horrible about it, I don't know if she drank from it but if she did is it dangerous?

It's gross, but it shouldn't cause any harm. Maggots are just a type of larvae. You should try to figure out how they got in there, though, since they wouldn't have developed there - they had to have been deposited there by something else drinking the water or being near the bowl.
