My cat ate a slug and now has what looks like dried slime round her mouth. She seems fine but won't let me remove it. Doni need to take her to a vet?

No, Zoe will likely take care of that herself. No need to take her to a vet . Slugs are not poisonous.

It might cause her some vomiting and diarrhea, but if it doesn't- you will probably not need to take her to the vet. The slime from the mouth should disappear within a coupe hours tops.
