Is a boiled egg yolk safe for my weak kitten to eat for a day?

A small amount is fine. As long as they are thoroughly cooked it should be OK for your cat to have some of an egg yolk. It is best that their main source of food is a balanced cat food. That ensures they are getting plenty of minerals and vitamins that are necessary in the right ratio's.

HI, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I only recommend commercial kitten food for kittens. It is possible that the egg yolk was too rich for her and is now causing the diarrhea. Cats are extremely clean and she is likely licking herself to remove the leaking stool. Since she is so young and the diarrhea is so bad I would take her to your Vet for medications. I would try to not give her table food since she seems to have a sensitive stomach. Other causes of diarrhea are: intestinal parasites, viral or bacterial infections, toxin ingestion, pancreatitis, metabolic conditions. Hello, Coco needs to be fed a well balanced diet. Ideally any commercial kitten food is better than egg yolk and milk. Please feed her wet or dry kitten food as milk and egg yolk is not well balanced. Hope this helps and best of luck.

It's not due to the salt or pepper, but maybe the egg was not fresh or just didn't seat well with her stomach. give it 24 hours, try to feed her boiled chicken and rice today, if by tomorrow she is still not eating you will need to take her to the vet in order to get it treated.

If Coco ate boiled egg for the first time yesterday, that could cause the blood in her poop. You should have her seen by a vet in the morning for this, as blood in the poop can be very serious. Your kitten needs to be seen by a vet immediately. Cats cannot go without eating for more than a few days without suffering liver damage. Your kitten is likely very dehydrated and weak and will need supportive care to help him survive. Right now, make sure he stays warm and mix some honey or corn syrup with warm water and very carefully use a syringe or dropper to get him to swallow some of this to help rehydrate him and give him some calories. Be very careful because it is easy to choke him when he is this weak.
