Is it safe to use Advocate and Exelpet All-Wormer on my cat?

Updated on September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 10 years old

Can/should you use advocate fleas, heartworm and worms (for cats over 4kgs) with exelpet All-Wormer Paste together? Both products treat hookworm and roundworm however, Exelpet treats Tapeworm whereas advocate does not. Can I then use them together?

Yes you can certainly use these products together. Dewormers are often given in conjunction with heartworm preventatives, even though they both treat for intestinal worms because the safety margin for dewormers is very wide, allowing us to do multiple doses if needed. Best wishes and take care.
