Yes you can certainly use these products together. Dewormers are often given in conjunction with heartworm preventatives, even though they both treat for intestinal worms because the safety margin for dewormers is very wide, allowing us to do multiple doses if needed. Best wishes and take care.

Advocate does not treat for these specific type of worms- tapeworms. And tapeworms come from your pet either ingesting an infected flea or eating another pets poop that has tapeworms in it. You can give the profender a minimum of 2 after giving another topical flea preventative, since it is an intestinal worm treatment only. So if it has been at least 2 full days now, you can go ahead and apply the Profender and its best to keep Morph on Advocate monthly to prevent re-infection. The medication in Vermox syrup is mebendazole, which should not affect the kidneys. I would assume that the tapeworm injection was praziquantel which also should not affect the kidneys (praziquantel is not effective against roundworms).

Yes it ia sbsolutely ok to treat her for fleas. I would use a spot on such as Advantage or frotnline Plus or similar spot ons. and you can get some Pyrantel Pamoate from your veterinarian to worm her (it is a liquid, that does not taste terrible) or a Drontal for cats tablet.

There is an over the counter dewormer for tapeworms called Bayer Tapeworm dewormer. It's also generally safe and has rare adverse reactions.
