My pet has swollen, pink eyelids. Is it contagious? What should I do?

Her eyelids are swollen up with a pink outline and it is not on the cornea but around it. Does it spread? What to do now?

Paul appears to have a conjunctivitis, which is inflammation of the tissues around the eye. This can be from viral or bacterial causes. Depending on cause this can be contagious to other livestock. Keep quarantines from other animals and I suggest a veterinary examine him to determine cause and approriate treatment.
